About Me

Hello and Welcome!

I am an Iowan transplanted to Minnesota in 2013 and have lived here since. I jumped into the mental health field when I moved up to Minnesota and always felt the heart tug to live in the cities. When my parents would take us on family trips to watch our favorite sports teams I would say that I felt I was going to live here. I am now living in a little suburb of the cities with my husband and two pups. We got married in July of 2022 (thank you for the delay covid) and you can find us on walks with our pups or yelling at the television because our sports teams are playing (hints the lovely sweatshirts in this photo).

I work full time in the mental health field as a supervisor and as I have went from job to job in the mental health field my dreams have become bigger and bigger. I found myself diving into the coaching opportunity knowing my 8-5 salary was not going to pay for our daily living costs plus developing mental health services for kids that are lost in a system that is struggling to treat the growing need. When I started my business I wanted more accountability in my workouts because I was working 3 jobs in the mental health field so going to the gym was not an option…as I started working out consistently and my income started to grow as I worked my business. My first goal was to pay one of my bills with my coaching income then moving to rent so I wasn’t working everyday in a field that has a high burn out rate. As I continued to grow my business and income while healing myself from past relationships that affected my own mental health I found someone I wasn’t looking for, but God had plans. Fast forward and I moved in with my now husband and as we dream together for our future our vision board evolved. Today I am working one job in the mental health field and get to do my business on my own time. I am not drained from the long mental health hours, but my workouts, learning how to eat for energy and being around other like minded women with dreams helped me get to where I am today and has given me a new drive for life.

I am a better wife, employee, and healed because of starting this opportunity. My husband and I continue to dream outside the 8-5; his of wood working and myself creating transitional housing for the mental health field all while finding a backyard that fits 10 dogs (yes, I am being serious). We weren’t meant to sit at a desk our whole lives. We were meant to dream, evolve, and grow whether you love where you are now or are ready for a change. It is time to take a chance on yourself! I will see you soon!
